Below we have listed the answers to the most common questions we get asked on a daily basis. Please take the time to read through this list before contacting us with your query. If you cannot find the answer to your question here please email us at info@photomountsuk.co.uk for a quick response

Q: Can I order over the phone?
A: No. All orders must be placed via the website
 
Q: What are the prices of your mounts / folders and can I get a discount if I order more?
A: The price of every product can be found on the product page (directly to the right of the product image) along with any applicable quantity discounts
 
Q: If I order today, when will I receive my order?
A: If you order and pay before 1pm Monday - Friday on a courier delivery service, your order will be dispatched the same day on the service you have paid for. If you need your order to arrive on the next working day ensure you have paid for your order before 1pm and that you have paid for an express delivery option. If you choose the Royal Mail option for delivery it should be with you within 7 working days but you must allow up to 28 days for delivery.
 
Q: Can I get a free sample? / I want to place a big order but would like to see what one looks like first?
A: We don't send out free samples under any circumstances but we do sell most of our products in single quantities so you can buy one first if you want to see it before placing a larger order
 
Q: Can you customise / personalise the mounts / folders?
A: We do offer a foil blocking service which is suitable for up to 2 lines of text. Please see this product for more information
 
Q: How much is delivery?
A: P&P is calculated based on the weight of your order and the delivery destination. Add the products you want to the basket and then enter your postcode in the "shipping estimate" box to see all the available options and costs. Please see this page for more information
 
Q: Are they in stock?
A: The stock level is shown just below the product code and above the quantity box on the product page. If a product is OUT OF STOCK it will say so in red writing.
 
Q: I need a VAT invoice. Please can you send me one?
A: The 'ORDER COMPLETE' status email serves as your VAT invoice. Please print this for your records
 
Q: I don't have a credit card so can't order online. Is there any other way?
A: All orders must be placed online. If you don't have a credit card then you can choose from one of the other options at checkout including Paypal and Proforma which allows you to pay by bank transfer or cheque.
 
Q: What is the overall / outer size of the mount / folder?
A: Please see the 'Specification' tab on the product page for more detailed information including the overall mount size
 
Q: How do I know what mount size I need?
A: Measure your print in inches then click on 'Browse by Size' on the left hand category menu followed by the actual size that you've measured to find all mounts / folders that will fit your print
 
Q: Can you make a custom sized mount to fit my print?
A: If you can't find the size you require after clicking the 'Browse by Size' category then we do not sell anything to fit your print size. We'd recommend talking to your local framers
 
Q: Your product prices say they include VAT but VAT is being added at the checkout?
A: VAT is not being added at the checkout. The basket pages are just showing you the vat content / breakdown of the product you have in the basket
 
Q: I am a business and I want my order shipped abroad. Can you deduct the VAT?
A: No. We do not get involved with any such exports. If you want the order shipped abroad and have arranged your own courier to collect then you should speak to your exporters and accountant for advice
 
Q: I want to place a small order but your delivery charges are too high. Is there a cheaper option?
A: Our P&P charges cover the actual cost of postage/courier plus packaging. All orders are packaged well to avoid damage in transit and so the cost of the packaging is built in to our P&P charges.
 
Q: I live locally and want to collect my order instead of paying for delivery?
A: We do not offer a collection service. All orders are dispatched from a warehouse and we do not have a shop front or staff that would enable us to offer such a service.
